God is punishing blue state Obama voters

Manhattan and New Jersey and Connecticut are really taking a pounding from Sandy right now. She took dead aim at the heart of Obamaland just one week before the election. This cannot be a coincidence. God must be sending Obama voters a message.

I don't really believe that. I was just channeling some thing who goes by the name Robert F. Kennedy Jr. I wish my friends in the northeast good luck tonight and I hope for a speedy recovery from the damage. We've done the hurricane thing many times and we're here to help.

Barack Obama is about to lose bad

Reading Barack Obama's description of Mitt Romney today reminds me a lot of the meltdown in the George H. W. Bush campaign 20 years ago. You may remember. Bush was describing Clinton/Gore:
My dog Millie knows more about foreign affairs than these two bozos.
It was a petty comment unworthy of a president and reflected his frustration with the way his reelection campaign was falling apart. I think the same thing is happening within the Obama campaign right now.

Biden vs Ryan

I predict that Biden will do well tonight. Joe actually has debate skills. Skills his boss lacks. It should be an interesting night.

You know what bugs the crap out of me about Biden? His overuse of "man." He's old and it sounds really stupid, man. "You can't go into a Duncan Donuts without running across an Indian. It's storybook, man."

It all comes down to this

The polls are meaningless. These viral videos (the Obama Phone woman, Romney and the 47%, etc.) are meaningless and only play to the party faithful. Outside of their core bases, neither candidate has an advantage right now and there will be no real "October Surprise." The unaffiliated can go either way.

I can only tell you what I see in my part of the world, but I don't see enthusiasm for either one of them. I work in a very "blue" part of town and I don't see many Obama bumper stickers. I live in a very "red" state and I don't see many Romney bumper stickers.

I think it will all come to a head tomorrow night during the first debate. If Romney sucks, the undecided will have made up their minds right then. If Obama blows chunks, the race is over and Romney wins.

Everything else is noise. It's decided tomorrow.
