Manhattan and New Jersey and Connecticut are really taking a pounding from Sandy right now. She took dead aim at the heart of Obamaland just one week before the election. This cannot be a coincidence. God must be sending Obama voters a message.
I don't really believe that. I was just channeling some thing who goes by the name Robert F. Kennedy Jr. I wish my friends in the northeast good luck tonight and I hope for a speedy recovery from the damage. We've done the hurricane thing many times and we're here to help.

Not too bad for the DC area, though that's coming from someone who grew up on the Gulf Coast and sat through real hurricanes. Lots of power outages make it a little bit miserable, but at least it's cold -- put the fridge contents in boxes out on the deck. Yeah, floods were nasty NE of here, but it's not the wash-away-a-town floods like Camille/Katrina/Rita/etc. Damage will be horrendously expensive, though.
Glad you came through OK.
