I was wondering when we would see the good 'ol Euroslide again. The krauts will show the greeks the door in an orderly fashion, 6-8 months is my guess.
I think it is sooner. Sometime this month is my guess - Possibly as early as this Friday. It needs to be done before too much panic and all hell breaks out. It can be accomplished best over a weekend. Banks close on Friday. Over weekend everything changes to Drachmas and banks re-open Monday am with all accounts denomiated in the new currency.
It won't be pretty.
Hearing about bank runs in Greece. I wonder if they will peg the drachma to the Euro (chuckle).
