Ron Paul is a classy guy who just wants to watch out for us taxpayers. (Just kidding!)Paul flew first class on at least 31 round-trip flights and 12 one-way flights since May 2009 when he was traveling between Washington and his district in Texas, according to a review by The Associated Press of his congressional office expenses.More here.
Ron Paul: Wasting tens of thousands of your hard-earned tax dollars every year on personal luxury travel while claiming to be against wasteful government spending.

I think "gold standard" should be a permanent sooper sekrit Ron Paul code phrase.
Yep if he cared it would fly on a government aircraft to show how much he cared.
Lou you are off base here, although at your age it is understandable. When you get to be in your 60's it becomes very very difficult for many of us to sit in a coach seat for more then an hour. I can no longer travel unless I can afford a biz or 1st class seat unfortunately. I'm no Ronulan but you simply can't expect this man to travel constantly like a young man can.
Let us know when the sum total of all these flights add up to one of Pelosi's Air Force 3 junkets. KTHX.
Who's excusing Pelosi's (or anyone else's) junkets?
Paul has no excuse for this. He claims to be a friend of the taxpayer, yet here he is, flying around the country First Class on our dime, wasting tens of thousands dollars so he can fly in luxury.
Anon,

Yet he can stand at a lectern for 2 hours? C'mon.
