I bet these jobs pay well. I'll also bet that these jobs are a lot easier than working at McDonald's.
I hear a lot from the UAW about how tough it is to work an assembly line. Maybe it was 60 years ago. But Army life is far tougher. So is being a garbage man, being a dishwasher at a restaurant, or working as a fry cook at McDonald's. For those who haven't had the pleasure, pressure is working in the back at Burger King when 40 drunk frat boys walk in at 11:30 at night demanding food and you are the only one working the broiler. No 30-minute smoke breaks for those people.
I have two great kids who I love more than life itself, despite any whining you might read here. Everything else is peanuts.
