I am shocked at the complete and utter collapse of the Rick Perry campaign. As our governor for so many years I figured I knew him better. What a fail. But props to the Mitt Romney campaign for shopping today's story around. The Romney campaign staffers are the best in the business. They are like Apple, and everyone else is like Microsoft, RIM and Palm.
Since I seem to be a jinx when it comes to picking candidates (see Fred Thompson, my many blog posts nuked during my 2008 crisis), let me say that New Jersey governor Chris Christie would make a horrible president and I hope he fails. Ditto for Herman Cain, who is a complete loser who offers nothing. A Cain/Christie ticket would be a really bad thing for this country and I hope that they don't get the RNC nomination.

Anyone else sick of the 1940s and 1950s crowd?? Has this generation *not* fucked things up enough for everyone? Clueless about technology, clueless about the modern world, clueless about hardships faced by younger folks, constantly re-hashing shit that no one under 45 cares about (gay marriage, marijuana, etc), on and on and on.
Mitt Romney? That's what the country needs in 2012, some coddled soon-to-be senior citizen born two years after WWII ended. Wonderful.
Our state politicians recently decided to spend their time passing a 'no gay marriage' state constitution amendment referendum for next spring.
Instead of dealing with our state's 12% unemployment rate.
My personally-held religious beliefs are opposed to gay marriage.
But I won't be wasting any more state money by voting in a pointless referendum on an issue that will be decided on a federal level soon enough.
I only wish my town could secede from these idiots.
