Barack who?

It's interesting that my friends on the Democratic side of the spectrum have forgotten who the president is. Up until roughly 6 months ago my Facebook pals enjoyed posting about how much they loved Barack Obama. My relatives on the left were so proud of the man they elected and were quite vocal around the dinner table. I bit my tongue.

Now, they don't utter a word. There are no tweets, no Facebook posts. They don't mention Barack Obama at all. Indeed, if they feel the need to discuss politics, all they can utter is a disjointed rant about Sarah Palin or joke about Rick Perry's hair. It's like they have no recollection of who they voted for.

The collapse in Obama's popularity appears even more dramatic than Bush 1's collapse after the first Gulf War. Hero to Zero. I'm waiting for Obama to barf on a world leader and the cycle will be complete.

Lou, the campaign is just warming up. New chants and slogans for your Dem friends to hang on to. In the end they will vote once again for BO. So keep space on your facebook page for lots of anti-GOP quips because you have 18 months of it coming your way.

It's good you held your tongue, can't hardly go wrong that way.

This was prophesied in the book of Obama, ch 3 verse 18-20

18 The people shall forget His miracles and blessings, and become silent. 19 In His righteous anger, He shall curse the land that He ruled so His people had no work. 20 He shall do this to make His people turn to Him for their needs, and to curse the One that preceded Him.

You're living in your own little bubble dude. Obama's about as popular as the day he was elected. You can keep repeating the contents of this blog to yourself day in day out, but methinks you suffer from "Obama Derangement Syndrome."

The Beloved Leader and Great Helmsman needs no tweets. He's already got enough twits Barracking for him (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/barrack#Verb_2)

Lou is dead on right again (and correct that the GOP will come down to Perry/Romney). I don't know if anyone saw the 'behind the polls' data on an NBC poll released. They oversampled it to slant for Dems and he still couldnt crack 50%. Odd thing was that 6% of those polled claimed they voted for another candidate in 2008 (not Barry or McCain). Interesting that 6% of people can't admit to anonymous pollsters that they voted for Barry.

"On College Campuses, Obama's Not Cool Anymore"

Though I'm a Republican who supported McCain, I thought Lou was a little premature in demanding results from Obama. The economy was in the toilet & people were bound to give him a lot of slack.

Now, I think Lou is right. The honeymoon is over. Obama's base of supporters aren't abandoning him. But the novelty is gone & people are starting to ask hard questions.

Doesn't mean Obama will lose in '12. But I have to laugh at those who warned the GOP not the become the "Party of No".

Notice how many Obama bumper stickers have disappeared?

The Obamaists are busy erasing the history of their votes. No one wants to admit they voted for a racist, Marxist, failure.

I don't know why everyone demonizes the guy.

He's just another apparatchik - why expect his politics to be any different from say Tip O'Neill?

Things never change - in the U.S. Presidential election you're voting for a platform, not a person.

I don't see Obama=Hitler t-shirts. Obama's predecessor, OTOH.
