- It's pretty clear to me that the proposed mosque has nothing to do with tolerance.

- It's pretty clear to me that this is meant to be "in your face."
Besides, the building's owners will be stepping into a hornet's nest if they pursue this. No need for me to kick it around, we've all read about it. Let them go bankrupt building this thing.

I think the folks in that part of the country ain't happy and will express their contempt for liberals this November by either changing parties or staying home because of so many issues with this on the list. The chosen one should not lecture the average Joe about the legal issues while his wife is hob nobbing in Spain on our dime, etc. etc. etc. He should have talked to the builders in the same way he talks to Israel about building housing in Israel.

And I read that Ron Paul is all in favor, bleating that opposing the mosque is "all hate and islamophobia". At only 75, he has not even the excuse of having turned senile. What gives?
