Galveston has the best beaches on the Gulf Coast north of Corpus right now!
I was in Galveston Saturday. The seaweed was bad, but it's way better than oil. Spent most of the day on The Strand, Postoffice Street, and exploring other parts of the island. For those in states with immediate impact of the oil ... I feel your pain. I am disgusted by the whole mess and BP's and Fed's response to prevent it/fix it/clean it.
Sen. Robert Byrd has died and is now comfortably burning in hell with the rest of his odious generation.
