Gary Anderson [http://bank-abuse.com/banksters.html ] says:Not sure why Gary has a hardon for Texas. Is he bitter because Texas is a place where regular folks can afford to buy a house and not go bankrupt? Is he cranky because public employee unions aren't as powerful here as they are in California?

“Well, Texas is showing an 11 billion dollar deficit for 2011. Now Texas we know has inflated oil dollars coming in from a manipulated oil market. But no one cries about Texas. In fact, Texas may be reeling from less NY and Cali welfare. It is a known fact that the Blue States subsidized the Red States for years. Welfare.

“You guys still don't get it. Texas has a massive deficit. And they live on inflated oil.
In California they actually make things. Google, Yahoo, Intuit, Intel, all there. Without California we would already be third world. And Cali supported the red states for years. Google it. You guys have the issue. Get on with it.

"I read all this analysis about California. Come to find that Texas has an 11 billion dollar gap. Now, Texas is making it with inflated oil, where the state profits from prices for energy that are manipulated. This needs to stop. Oil needs to be at 50 and we would be badmouthing Texas more than Cali. Get real people. At least they make things in Cali. They just pump oil in Texas and it is inflated and manipulated.

"Hey Maggot, check out the 11 billion dollar deficit facing Texas. Hahahahahahahaha. Time to badmouth the state that makes money through an inflated and manipulated housing market, that still owes to the moon. At least Cali makes things and is an economic powerhouse. http://www.texastribune.org/topics/2011-budget-shortfall/

“California has an unemployment rate of almost 13 percent. He would be foolish to cut anything. He needs to keep spending. The US government will come around. Cali subsidized the red states for years. If anything this has put Texas in the "red" in more ways than one as they have an 11 billion dollar gap.

“Ah, Pacific Palisades, what a heavenly place! Nice. LA girl, California is an economic powerhouse and doesn't rely on inflated oil prices as much as Texas to gain profit. There is some oil production in California but small compared to Texas. Texas is subsidized by a manipulated oil market. And they now have an 11 billion gap!
It's interesting that he continually falls back on the "If California didn't bail out the red states we'd have a balanced budget!" canard. Hint to Gary: Texas is a "donor" state, and for decades up until the cold war ended California received massive cash injections from the rest of the country via fat defense contracts. Oh, and Gary. We do have a budget deficit. Ours works out to $3.5 billion. California's deficit is $52 billion. But don't worry, Gary. We'll be bailing out California with 52 billion Barry Bucks very soon.
