A debate on A-Net is where the merged United Airlines and Continental Airlines would set up their headquarters. Houston is the cheaper option, Chicago is the prestigious option. The general feeling is it would remain in Houston.
I disagree. The A-Net people forget who's currently in the White House. I expect that Obama will make not-so-subtle hints to the DoJ and UAL/CAL management that no merger will be allowed unless the headquarters of the combined airline goes to Chicago.
Anise Parker doesn't look like the kind of person who breaks kneecaps. We don't stand a chance against the Chicago political machine. Bye, Continental.
