Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs
tossed out this comment about Bill Sparkman, the guy who offed himself for the insurance money:
But the description of the circumstances and the timing (around the time of the Washington DC tea party) raises a strong suspicion that anti-government sentiment may have been the motivation.
I said
Charles is now the Dan Rather of the Blogosphere back in September because of this insinuation. Now that Charles' disgusting insinuation has been proven wrong,
he doesn't have the decency to apologize.
Since this news came out, I’ve received several angry emails demanding that I apologize for saying Sparkman had been murdered by a right wing extremist.
The problem is, I never wrote anything like that. For the record, this was my post when the story broke, and I don’t apologize for a single word.
You implied it, Charles. It's plain as day. This lumps you in with certain Kos diarists, Obama Birthers and 9/11 Truthers. And
Andrew Sullivan.

I fully supported Johnson in his battles against creepy-crawly Aryan Race types in Europe and elsewhere who somehow became respectful. I said so publicly and to him. Now Charles is seeing the creepy crawlies under ever rock, even though there's nothing there.
I was never much an LGF fan as I was a Sullivan fan back in the days before it was embarrasing to go there.
It's really too bad what has happened to both of their professional reputations. They're right up there with AGW supporters now.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your kids Lou.
He was just asking questions, Lou.
"Shouldn't we be worried if our school president is a girl who would rather get her tits licked than go to student council meetings?"
"It was also discovered that Sparkman had recently taken out prior to his death two accidental life insurance policies totalling $600,000 (£362,000), and that if he was killed on the job his family would receive an additional $10,000 from the government.
However, the life insurance policies did not cover suicide."
HE SHOULD HAVE PAID SOMEONE TO DO THE JOB RIGHT.
Or waited 2 years.
After which the life insurance policy has to pay, even for suicide.
"Or waited 2 years."
But that means keeping up with payments for two years.....that's why these guys try to scam the system, if they could make the payments they probably wouldn't be considering suicide in the first place.
