This is the flip side to the China manufacturing issue. Laptops for the third world, but I don't see how it's possible to manufacture this device while paying factory workers wages. I wonder if slave labor is involved.

Anon, I doubt you'll find this at Best Buy. If you live in a large metro area, try your locally-owned (i.e., Asian-owned) electronics dealer in a few months.In Houston, that means somewhere down on Harwin.
That $80 price point looks very attractive. The 25 million political prisoners are irrelevent, who themselves would love one of these if their gnads weren't attached to car batteries.
