$80 laptop

It's not great, but each model is getting better. I hope that Dell and HP are paying attention.

The dude presenting this cracks me up.

This is the flip side to the China manufacturing issue. Laptops for the third world, but I don't see how it's possible to manufacture this device while paying factory workers wages. I wonder if slave labor is involved.

Having just finished my Dell Inspiron mini 10v Hackintosh for $342 plus a couple hours I couldn't care less. This is the king of netbooks.

This is a random question, but does anyone know the address of the website depicted briefly in the video at 1:21...?

It would be cool as a homepage, rather than separate bookmarks for Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

Where can I buy one? I've searched the net and can't find them actually for sale anywhere.

Anon, I doubt you'll find this at Best Buy. If you live in a large metro area, try your locally-owned (i.e., Asian-owned) electronics dealer in a few months.

In Houston, that means somewhere down on Harwin.

That $80 price point looks very attractive. The 25 million political prisoners are irrelevent, who themselves would love one of these if their gnads weren't attached to car batteries.
