Control of the public airwaves is overrated. Control of the Internet and cable television is a different matter.
Let me ask, do you get most of your information from the radio and broadcast TV or from the Internet and cable? Thought so. The Fairness Doctrine addresses yesterday's media and the politicians know this.
When we start hearing calls for regulating cable news outlets and websites that cover politics, that's when we should be concerned. Are we there yet?
