Michael Jackson's hair was on fire in 1984.

Nightline: Right now they are focusing like a laser beam on Michael Jackson's hair catching on fire in 1984. This is the important news.

Well, the news cycle is slow right now. It's not like there is anything of historic significance going on in Washington right now that will utterly change the way you and I live.

It's just incredible how little attention is being paid on TV news to the specifics of the health care bill, or the cap and trade bill, or any other of the REAL NEWS items that will shape our dismal government-managed future.

Every time I see more of this irrelevant MJ crap, I just want to throw a brick through the TV, which is often because work has Crap News Network (CNN) blaring on overhead monitors. Government hands out the bread, these guys provide the circuses.

Government unions and the insurance industry must be peeing their pants with excitement over government health care plan. We know that they will eventually be the ones running it.

Cap and trade should be called "tax and control".

By the way, has anyone explained how the government makes a Trillion(!) dollars over a decade from cap and trade?
