Or it could've been that he was an 86-year-old male! That's fairly old, especially for a guy. :-p
Toad, you are 100% right. 86 is a good long life. But McMahon was under a lot of stress and I think that it hastened his death.
Just me. I've seen what serious financial problems can do to someone's health. The past 2 years must have been humiliating for him.
