Today I was lied to by two different people who I know pretty well. Flat-out, in-your-face lies. Guess I don't know them as well as I thought.I don't understand it, but at this stage in my life it doesn't bother me. I just let it roll off with a "whatever" and move on.

That's probably the best course of action. Shrug it off, and keep it in mind in all future interactions with them. Nothing else has any real return on investment.

That's exactly right. Strange, 20 years ago I'd be bothered by this and would take it personally. Now, at my advanced age, I am analytical about it.
Chalk it up to experience.
I'm sure you realize ALL leftist liberal democrats lie all the time. That is how they get what they want even if it is destructive to society as a whole.
