Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian

Afternoon at the Gigaplex: Battle of the Boredom. But the Amelia Earhart character was sexy in an "I shouldn't think she's hot but she's hot" kinda way.

Kids will like it, but unlike the first one, parents won't.

Saw it in magnificent IMAX glory yesterday. Kids "liked" it, but they aren't talking about it, except for the scene with all the aircraft and rockets humming. I guffawed twice (at the 2nd base joke) and at the lame dudes getting "roared" by the rex at the end. I actually fell asleep in the very middle (I was tired). Amy Adams is hot, but not my type.

Lately I've been getting my son into movies like "The Great Escape", The Guns of Navarone" etc., as part of weekend homeschooling. He's digging it so far.

OK, I started drifting off during the movie too. I am very glad to know it's not just me.

There were some cool scenes, particularly the paintings and historical photos that came to life.

I guess I should have chosen Angels And Demons. It was between Terminator and Night, so I chose Terminator. I found myself feeling a decent 1 word review would be "meh".

I don't know what I was expecting but I was somewhat underwhelmed which is odd considering the insanely over the top action scenes.

I heard Terminator sucked, so I am reading your comments to confirm that I should stay away, Scott.

But I'm there for Transformers 2.

Lameo that I be, I haven't seen Star Trek yet. Fortunately the local cinema has a digital projector so next weekend should be soon enough. Honestly, I bought 15 DVDs at yard sales this weekend for $24. I'm good.
