As the collapse continues, I am watching a number of commentators I once respected lose their grip on reality. A guy whose name rhymes with Gas Pain springs to mind.
I wonder what causes this.

Well it's a financial panic- people are confused, myself included. Interesting (but not fun) to live through if you ask me.
Tesla, I was thinking the same thing last night as I was driving home. These are very interesting times that (knock on wood) I can share with my grandchildren in 15 or 20 years. Like you I'd rather live in boring times.
Reminds me of that old Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times."
My favorite Chinese curse is "May all your wishes be granted".
I had to think about that one a few seconds, Jean. Yes, I imagine that would suck, having everything you want, nothing to work for, nothing to aspire to.
