I turned on the radio this morning and at first I thought that Michael Palin was somehow getting involved in the US presidential campaign. Then after about 15 seconds they said Sarah Palin. I said "who?" Now that I know about her I like the McCain/Palin ticket. Palin is sharp.Savage thinks McCain is trying to lose the election. I disagree. I think this is the way to win the election.
Now back to Hammer #1 for the next few weeks, unless something happens with Gustav. I don't recall ever seeing a hurricane travel in a perfectly straight direction for 1500 miles.

How about this election. I think McCain nuked Obama today. I'm mean nuked him in the blogosphere. News trickles down slower to the real world where it actually counts, but it eventually arrives.

I do, too. I don't think the Obama camp realizes how pissed off many women are over the way Hillary was treated. Obama chose a tired old hack with a bad hair transplant. McCain chose a dynamic younger woman who is strong.

I appreciate that! I was hoping my Joe Bastardi/hurricane posts were archived, but they are all gone. Back in March I predicted that Houston would get wacked by a hurricane in 2008 because for the first time in years Joe Bastardi made no reference to Texas in his pre-season hurricane guesscast.
I agree wrt to the Bastardi posts, that was some of your best material. When you are done with hammers, hopefully you can bag on him again.
I used to keep track of sportswriters preseason polls for football and their predictions then write about how wrong they ALL were at the end of the season. You should do the same for Bastardi.
